| Juliana Martínez Franzoni is a truly outstanding global scholar in the field of the welfare state. She has published ground breaking work on welfare regimes in Latin America, and on the complex relations and interactions with gender issues and the overall impact on inequality in the Global South. During her stay in Germany, she intends to work on the political economy of social and redistributive policies since the outbreak of COVID-19 in Central America. |
